Areas of Expertise
Clinical Hypnosis
I hold a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy from the CPHT School of Hypnotherapy in the UK. I am a Member of both the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH).
Background
Before embarking on my journey of discovery in Hypnosis, my career in the Performing Arts and Education provided a solid foundation for some of the skills I use today. I have worked internationally as an actor, presenter, teacher - and with people of every age and background.
Alternative Treatments
My core approach is Solution Focused. I have additionally studied Past Life Regression Hypnosis (Somerset School of Hypnotherapy), Shamanic Journeying, and other traditional wisdom practices. These may be incorporated into our sessions together, on your request.
My Approach
A session with me should feel natural, normal, restorative, empowering and - most important of all - fun.

The thought of booking a first Clinical Hypnosis session can seem daunting. Don't I know it! Some of my clients expected a "talking therapy", where they'd have to delve into all their past upsets and uncover all their buried emotions. Other clients had a false, "cartoon" impression of hypnotism from books or movies: they imagined I'd take control of their will to implant strange thoughts, or that they wouldn't remember a thing. I can absolutely assure you: that won't happen.

At our Initial Consultation, I'll ask a few questions to understand how we're going to help you. I'll explain how hypnotherapy activates the right connections in the brain and nervous system to enable positive change. I'll show how trance is a natural state of mind, one that you're already very familiar and comfortable with - you experience it every day. I'll give you a complimentary, relaxing MP3 audio download to listen to at home.
As you experience the benefits of your hypnotherapy, you might be surprised how effortlessly you've achieved the progress you wanted. Many of us were taught that some things should be hard: such as changing our moods or attitudes; motivating ourselves; gaining confidence; letting go of stress, anxiety or troublesome habits. Modern science shows that such ideas were misplaced. By focusing in the right way on the positive, and by using the creative state of trance, great things can and do happen. At first it might all seem too easy, too simple. I hope you'll soon become aware, as many of my clients have, that in fact it's just right.
